Kids’ Party With A Purpose

For the last couple of years TBM has been striving to achieve ever-higher standards of artistic integrity and realism in our visualising and animatics, as clients desires and expectations rise higher and higher.

This means that we need better reference – particularly for children – that is more realistic than ever before.

Kids’ Party With A Purpose

Traditionally, when we are working on a photo-real project a lot of our production time can be spent searching for shots of children to be cast and then signed off by client before proceeding. Time, which would be better spent on finishing the job!

How to solve this problem? Throw a Party! Of course!!

What Happens When It Goes Wrong? A True Story

photography studio shoot

Picture the scene, a large photographic studio in central London, everyone is in place: the stylist, the photographer, the DOP – who has lit it brilliantly, a producer, production assistant, three clients and a beautiful model… Oops, no, hang on a minute, where’s the model? She should have been here half an hour ago. Nooooooo…

Frantic calls to the models mobile ensue. No answer. Followed swiftly by frantic calls to her agent, they have no idea where she is. She’s usually ‘so reliable’.

By now I’m imagining all sorts: the model face down on a nightclub Banquette, somewhere in the West End, oblivious to time passing whilst dreadful Euro cheese thumps away in the background and Drugged-up Eurotrash cavort around her. Her teetering on the edge of the tube station platform, questioning her existence. Her stumbling across the runway to head back to her Eastern European Babushka.

Half hour passes, then another….

Happy birthday to TBM’s Jess aka ‘Her Majesty’. As you can see, she is having a Royal day!

Happy Birthday Jess

We expect that later she will be attending Buckingham Palace to meet the family and see the newly weds Prince William and Kate Middleton…. or not!
