Movember Run

On November 14th our Kelly ‘AKA Slippers’ braved the wind and the rain and took part in The Movember 10k Run!

The course around Greenwich Park was tough with lots of hills but she powered through and completed in time of 59.02 minutes!

Of course I was there to cheer her on from the side lines!

Wallpaper’s Tart Cards Exhibition – KK Outlet

tat_cards

Wallpaper* magazine currently has their ‘Tart Cards’ exhibition donning the walls at KK Outlet in Hoxton Square.

Last night was the private view so Kelly and I decided to take a little trip down there to check it out.  It was really nice and we got to hang out with some pretty cool dudes too.

We talked shop for a while with the creative boys Will Thacker and Blake Waters.  Also met Yen Ho, nice to finally put a face to the name!  Drank some Tiger Beer with Craig Kind from Next Door and Jackson Platt who has just got back from a stint in W&K Amsterdam.

‘Tart cards are the lo-fi promotional tools of many London prostitutes. Step into almost any central London phone box and you can contemplate any number of cards inviting you to be tied, teased, spanked or massaged either in luxury apartments, fully equipped chambers or the privacy of your own hotel room. All this and more is just ‘one minute away’ from the box in which you are standing.

To coincide with the magazine’s first ever Sex & Art Issue, Wallpaper* – in conjunction with Type LLP and St Bride Library – asked designers, from students to superstars, to find the tart hiding in every type and provide their own graphic content.’

More than 400 cards are on show, including designs by Erik Kessels, Anthony Burrill, Neville Brody, NB:Studio, Spin, Value and Service, Fernando Gutiérrez, Ian Wright and Noma Bar.

Exhibition is running until 29 June so hurry up and get yourself down there!

Like a Fysh Needs A bicycle

Warm congratulations to our Kelly – who made her first cycling commute from Brixton the Three Blind Headquarters this morning – and lived to tell the tale!

Although she was over-taken by quite a few other cyclists as well as some pedestrians on the route she made it here in one piece and with her pride intact. The only quite scarey moment was an interesting battle with a big shiny double-decker on Waterloo Bridge that was witnessed by Chris, who has supplied this sketch of the moment, now that he has stopped laughing long enough to hold a pencil.

Come on Kel! Keep those little legs spinning…
