Knorr Stock Pot Animatic

We’ve been doing some work-spotting in the office to see what our hard-work goes into creating!

The most recent project we’ve found was for Knorr Stock Pots – the latest type of stock-cube to hit the market.  We were approached to put together a 30 second animatic – basically, a moving storyboard – where the chef walks through a field of cardboard cows to get to his home, before using a Knorr Stock Pot to cook a delicious cottage pie for the family!

The finished ad even features Marco Pierre White!!

You can see the full TV ad on visit4info.com – compare how similar it is!!

A word from the Boss, Andy:

Hi all,

I need your help.

Charlton Athletic run a scheme called ‘The Charlton Upbeats’ which is a community scheme to help children and young adults with Downs Syndrome. My son, Joshua and many of his buddies attend this scheme and it has made a huge difference to their lives.

They are through to the final of ‘The People’s Millions’ which will be shown on ITV’s London Tonight this evening at 6pm.

They desperately need your votes and if successful over £35,000.00 will go to the scheme helping them extend their current services and allowing them to offer other services such as Speech and Language Therapy.

To help them in their endeavours please call and vote for Kick Start for Life on 0871 626 88 47.

Many thanks for your help and keep your fingers crossed.

Movember Run

On November 14th our Kelly ‘AKA Slippers’ braved the wind and the rain and took part in The Movember 10k Run!

The course around Greenwich Park was tough with lots of hills but she powered through and completed in time of 59.02 minutes!

Of course I was there to cheer her on from the side lines!

Leicester visits The Shire

Last weekend, I thought it was about time I visited the county that is named after me – Leicestershire!

My journey began at Kings Cross Station in London where I caught a train to Grantham.  I’d dreamt of arriving to one large bowl of Leicester cheeses and other orange-coloured cheesy delights… and lots of other Leicester mouses like me.  But sadly, there were just an abundance of Hobbits, cows and fields of green!

Nonetheless I enjoyed my time: I went for long country walks, ate some mushrooms and nearly fell in a really big hole!  I even picked some apples which I’m going to use to make an apple pie this weekend!

If you’d like to see all my pictures from my trip, please go to my flickr page here!

Leicester Express

Leicester spys MI6

Last week I embarked on another adventure, but this closer to home!

I travelled over london delivering art work to some lovely creatives and art directors! Call me Leicester Express!

I was accompanied by our work experience helper for the week, Ross. He was there to fight all those cheese stealing rats of Brixton and to assist me in my communcation with others slightly larger than myself.

It was a rather long day! I travelled to posh Pimlico and on to Brixton; to Chelsea to browse all these fanatabulous design places, mouse carpets and all that furniture… and eventually made it back to the office after getting lost.

You can now see some of my pictures on flickr!

Check out our pics plus some behind the scenes action..!

Thanks Rankin and team, we had loads of fun, look forward to the party next Friday!

Postcard from Leicester x

blog_4026

Dear All.

Like everyone else important in the Ad game, I’m taking some well-deserved time off from this pesky recession and am spending a couple of weeks sunning myself on a hot sandy beach on the Med. I’ve been trying not to do too much whilst I’m here, time for a break from the daily grind of Agency politics and client deadlines.

As you can see by the photos, I’ve gone a lovely colour, stretched out on my beach towel and I’ve been indulging the kids by letting them bury me in the sand. I had to warn them to take it easy – don’t want any sand in my mouth now do we! Its yellow but it tastes nothing like cheese.

Anyway, best sign-off, need to get out of this hole before the tide comes in.

Wish you were here.
